Their employee called me back, spoke to me about my AFFCU car loan and handled everything in a kind and personable matter. Not only that but she transferred the money back to my account due to the double payment and adjusted my due date so that it would be more convenient for me. She did a great job in analyzing the account and understanding the situation completely before drawing a conclusion. Thanks for your time and effort. I would like to commend the PBCU loan officer who worked with me on my car loan. My wife and I did not expect our car to breakdown and have to purchase a new one. The loan officer went the extra mile for us and showed her concern. Usually a loan can't be processed within 3 days, but the PBCU loan officer found a way and made sure everything was completed for us to buy a new car quickly. I would definitely recommend PBCU to anyone based on the excellent service we experienced. Also, the rates are tough to beat!

A few months ago, I had my wallet taken at MECU, Reisterstown Plaza…I lost personal items (pictures of my grandkids, etc.) and most of my I.D.’s and membership cards. I didn’t even have an I.D. to take a plane to my children the following week. I cannot remember a worse experience.

At that point the bank personnel had me do a police report and contacted Mr. Berry Grant. He was a lifesaver and helped me get over the trauma I felt at this time. He was so helpful in getting me back on track. I would like to tell you how much I appreciated his assistance and kindness during the ordeal.

I came into the GMU branch of Apple FCU and paid my loan. I was pleasantly greeted the second I walked in the door. The teller was very friendly and courteous. She chatted about why I was there, and if I was a student and what I wanted to do. I guess she saw my textbooks. I have been with and used larger banks, but this was the best service I have had at a banking branch so far. Thank You for GREAT service and 100% customer satisfaction. Buying a new car wasn’t planned and it really wasn’t in the budget, but after an accident totaled our car, we found we didn’t have a choice. So on a Saturday, we packed up our twin baby girls and went out in the cold rain to see if we could find a good deal at the credit union car sale.

We’d only been members of Apple for a short time and we arrived not knowing where to start, so we stopped by and talked with an employee who recommended we get pre-approved – that it would put us in the best negotiating position. So we did and then we were off and car hunting! After hours of looking and taking test drives, we found a car that was in our price range and met our family needs. We took our paperwork from the dealer and went back to the Apple booth. The staff member carefully reviewed the order and pointed out a couple of dealer-added options that we ultimately decided against, and in the end it saved us a lot of money thanks to the credit union.

We truly felt that Apple was looking out for our family’s best interest. You listened to us, understood our individual needs and then made it happen! We’re loyal members from the start and will recommend Apple Federal Credit Union to everyone we know!

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you as well as advise you of the wonderful treatment I received regarding the purchase of a new car. Everyone made the entire process very smooth.

On the afternoon of the pick up of the car, I sold my old car to the mechanic who had worked on it for eight years. During the transaction, I realized that the Point Breeze check he was giving me was from his father and not him. This, of course, meant another endorsement; and Valley Motors indicated it would not accept the check as part of the down payment.

I called MECU, who was absolutely wonderful. They told the Loch Raven branch to accept/not hold the Point Breeze check into my checking account. From Loch Raven, I went directly to Valley Motors to pick up the new car.

My wife and I have been members at Point Breeze Credit Union for several years. We have always been pleased with the services offered and the customer service we receive. One day however, one of your loan officers went above and beyond the call of duty. My wife and I moved into a new house in November and would not have been able to do so if it had not been for PBCU. Your loan officer helped us from the start and did not stop until settlement. Her forthright, honest and caring attitude relieved a lot of the stress that we incurred during the sales process. She worked well with our realtor and made sure we had everything we needed at settlement.

Other loan officers helped my wife and I when our loan officer was unavailable. They worked together and ensured that every need was met with the utmost professionalism.
